“Dr. Boyd’s research and clinical work have redefined how we understand airway and craniofacial development. His integration of evolutionary science and clinical practice perfectly aligns with our mission to address root causes of poor sleep—starting in childhood before symptoms progress,” said Adam Wertz, CEO of Rebis Health.
Boyd, a board-certified pediatric dentist and Master of Science in Human Nutrition, is recognized for his research in Evolutionary Oral Medicine, a field studying how modern lifestyle factors influence jaw growth, airway development, and overall health. He teaches in the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at Lurie Children’s Hospital, serves as a dental consultant to the hospital’s Sleep Medicine Service, and holds academic appointments with the University of Arkansas and the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
At Rebis Health, Boyd will support interdisciplinary collaboration across dentistry, sleep medicine, and functional health. His focus will be on helping families identify and address airway-related sleep issues early in childhood.
“Rebis is building something truly integrative—an approach that connects the dots between oral development, breathing, sleep, and systemic health. I’m honored to join a team that recognizes how early prevention and growth guidance can change the trajectory of a child’s entire life,” said Boyd.
Rebis Health provides multidisciplinary sleep medicine services that combine advanced medical care, functional medicine, and pediatric airway dentistry at its locations across Colorado, as well as through virtual care nationwide.
