The launch coincides with International Yoga Day and expands YogaSix's lineup of strength-focused fitness offerings.

Y6 Core combines core training, upper-body exercises, and full-body movement patterns in a low-impact format. The company reports that the class incorporates resistance bands, blocks, and sliders and is designed to provide a strength-focused workout while maintaining elements of YogaSix's existing yoga methodology.

“Y6 Core represents an exciting evolution for YogaSix. Our members are looking for workouts that build strength, challenge endurance, and still feel mindful and intentional. This class delivers all of that while staying true to our yoga roots,” said Veronica Najera, Vice President of Education at YogaSix.

According to the company, the new format was developed in response to increasing demand for low-impact strength training options within the boutique fitness sector. The class incorporates principles commonly associated with Pilates, including controlled movement, flow, and body awareness.

The launch is part of YogaSix's broader effort to expand its fitness programming and attract both new and existing members through additional workout formats.

YogaSix is also offering a promotional package of three classes for $36 for first-time local residents with valid identification who want to try Y6 Core and other class offerings.

Founded in 2012, YogaSix offers both heated and non-heated yoga classes, strength training, cardio-focused workouts, and recovery-based sessions. The company operates as part of the Xponential Fitness portfolio of boutique fitness brands.
